Amazon Seller

On the roadmap · Stores & marketplaces

Amazon Seller is on the roadmap. Until then, upload or forward it and Fiona books it.

What happens today

Not connected yet. Upload the settlement report and Fiona splits it into sales, referral fees, FBA fees, refunds and reimbursements.

Why it matters to your books

The Amazon settlement is the single most misbooked document in small-business ecommerce: one deposit that is actually a dozen income and expense lines netted together, twice a month.

What Fiona reads

How to set it up

  1. Seller Central → Reports → Payments → Date Range Reports → generate a Summary or Transaction report
  2. Send the report to Fiona, or forward it to your Fiona inbox
  3. She separates product sales from Amazon's fees, FBA charges and refunds

Questions people actually ask

Amazon's settlement report is enormous. Does that matter?

No. The point of the report is that every fee is itemized — that detail is what lets Fiona show true margin instead of just the deposit amount.

Is the deposit from Amazon my revenue?

No, and treating it that way is the most common ecommerce bookkeeping error. The deposit is sales minus fees minus refunds; Fiona records each part.
