What founders ask.

Plain answers about access, approval, pricing, integrations, and what happens to your books.

Does Fiona move or hold my money?

No. Fiona never holds or moves customer money. Mercury uses a read-only token, and statement uploads do not grant bank access. Fiona prepares drafts and supporting evidence; posting requires the owner’s approval.

What does it cost to start?

Both plans charge $29.99 immediately for the first 30 days. Solid Worker then renews at $99.99 every 30 days. Worker + Manager renews at $249.99 every 30 days. Cancel before renewal to avoid the next charge.

Is Fionas a bookkeeping service or a CPA?

Fionas is bookkeeping software. It is not a CPA, accountant, bank, lender, or financial, tax, investment, or legal advisor. AI can make mistakes. Review its work before relying on it, filing, or acting, and consult a qualified licensed professional for professional advice.

Who are Fiona and Maya?

They are AI software personas. Fiona prepares bookkeeping work. On the Manager plan, Maya independently reviews that work and raises objections. Neither is a human accountant, and neither can bypass the product’s deterministic controls or owner approval.

Can I manage more than one business?

Yes, through the contact-first Professional path. Each company keeps separate books, approvals, credentials, source documents, exports, and audit history. We onboard these accounts personally before offering self-serve multi-business billing.

What is the audit history?

Every consequential ledger change is attributed and appended to a tamper-evident history. Fiona checkpoints the books before a work cycle, and the workspace shows what changed, which source supports it, and who approved it.

How does the CPA handoff work?

Every plan can download a CPA package and export the books. The Manager plan can also create an expiring, revocable, password-optional hosted data-room link and records when it was opened. Your accountant remains responsible for professional review and filing.

Which sources work today?

Mercury is the direct bank connection. Fionas also supports business activity from Plane, Ramp, Stripe, Whop, Square, and the Fiona inbox, with source-specific behavior. Other U.S. banks work through PDF or CSV statement upload. The integrations page shows the exact current status of every source.

Does every source sync automatically?

No. Supported feeds can run in the scheduled work cycle, while some sources are synced from the workspace and statement-based banks require an upload. Fionas does not claim every connector runs nightly. Each integration page explains what happens today.

Can I export or delete my data?

Yes. Owners can export posted books as CSV or JSON and download the CPA package. Hosted data-room links can be revoked immediately. Owners can also permanently delete a business from the product; production data is never deleted merely for testing.

What happens if I cancel?

Cancel through Whop before the next renewal to avoid another charge. Reading, reporting, and exporting remain available even when new paid imports are inactive. The offer includes a 30-day money-back guarantee; contact support for a refund request.

What happens at month-end?

Fiona shows the close checklist, including drafts, unanswered questions, missing statement periods, and balance problems. You resolve the blockers and explicitly close the month when it is ready. Fiona does not silently close a period for you.
